University Surgical Associates Creates Marketing/PR Consulting Group

Thursday, September 11, 2008

University Surgical Associates (USA), the region's largest general surgery and general surgery sub-specialty practice, formed Creative Solutions Associates (CSA), a new business strategy, marketing communications and public relations consulting group.

CSA, a division of USA, offers a wide range of business and marketing services to health care practices and other regional companies, officials said.

USA's Director of Marketing and Public Relations, Michael C. Ringering, will lead the new venture.

"There is a specific need for this type of service in and around our community, especially in other healthcare-related practices that have less time and staffing resources to devote to an overall business or marketing strategy," said Craig D. Sarine, USA administrator and CSA director of business strategies.

Mr. Sarine said, "CSA brings value to the table because we live and breathe the business ourselves every day and understand its nuances. Growing a successful business takes some well-thought-out plans, skilled team members to get you there and time to implement your strategies, which is exactly what CSA offers."

Mr. Ringering, who has spent the last 20 years in marketing, media relations and communications, said, "Ala carte pricing makes CSA's services an affordable alternative to hiring full or part-time personnel to manage and coordinate marketing activities.

"CSA offers many services that are invaluable for healthcare groups, especially physicians who are just starting their practice, are launching new services or needing to do so. We also work with non-healthcare companies needing strategic business planning, media relations, branding and sales force development, among other marketing services."

In addition to Mr. Ringering and Mr. Sarine, the team also includes Kristiina Braden, a 16-year public relations and marketing communications veteran, and Megan Roberts, an external business-to-business sales and customer service expert.
