Monday, September 29, 2008

GPS coach Paul Brock was relieved to have the win behind him. "GPS-Baylor is always a great match no matter the talent level of either team and tonight was no different," he said. "To win the first region game against them is a nice start."

Led by Heather Parman, the Bruisers went on the attack. Param had 24 kills, 15 assist, 25 digs, 2 aces. Jasmine Brown did a good job feeding Parham and Danna Myatt the ball to lead the GPS past the Red Raiders.

The Seniors did a really nice job of calming the younger players when the score got tight."

Thank You, Judge Mattice And Chattanooga

I would like to thank Judge Mattice for handing down a 30.5 year sentence for Kathleen Mathews.  Obviously, no amount of jail time, fines, or lashings can bring back Tim Chapin.   A 30-year sentence will, however, make the world just a little safer.  That's what Sgt. Chapin would have wanted.  He was a protector and sacrificed his life so the rest of ... (click for more)
