Multicultural Chamber 2nd Annual Procurement Fair Is Sept. 25

All small business owners are invited to learn about doing business with several public and private government and corporate entities. The purpose is to provide you with an opportunity to network with decision makers, learn their corporate culture and procedures so you can grow your business by providing the goods and services they need.

The following companies will be present to discuss all aspects of How to do Business with their agency.

Volkswagen Group of America will hold information sessions three times during the day, at 9 a.m., 11 a.m., or 2 p.m.

Due to limited space you must register for the session if you plan to attend. Please call 423 265-0021.

Vendors include Memorial Health Care/Brasfield & Gorrie General Contractors – Memorial’s Multimillion Dollar Expansion, Alstom BlueCross BlueShield TN CARTA, City of Chattanooga, EPB, Erlanger Health System, SSOE, Tennessee Lottery, Tennessee Valley Authority. Additional vendors will be added when confirmed.

Mother Of Man Charged With Killing Sgt. Chapin Given Prison Sentence Of 30 Years, 6 Months

The mother of the man charged with killing Chattanooga Police Sgt. I would like to thank Judge Mattice for handing down a 30.5 year sentence for Kathleen Mathews.  Obviously, no amount of jail time, fines, or lashings can bring back Tim Chapin.   A 30-year sentence will, however, make the world just a little safer.  That's what Sgt.
