Authorities said Wednesday that the fire death of a mother and her two small children in Bradley County was a murder suicide.
District Attorney Steve Bebb said authorities do not know why it happened or if anyone else was involved.
He said Rachel Delacruz purchased gasoline for the fire the previous weekend.
Ms. Delacruz, 28; McKenzie Grace Matthews, 2, and Timothy Matthews, 3, were buried Thursday at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
The fire broke out shortly after 11 p.m. a week ago at a small frame home on Hunt Road.
The bodies of the victims were found inside by arriving fire and rescue personnel.
Officials said the husband first came home and discovered the bodies.
Authorities said the fire apparently began in the living room and was set by the mother.
