East Ridge U8 Stingray's First, Signal Mountain Storm Second In Adidas Indoor Tournament

The East Ridge U-8 Stingray girls soccer team won the Camp Jordan Adidas Indoor Soccer tournament this past weekend and the Signal Mountain Storm took second.

The Stingray's won their first two games 17-4 and 16-4 and faced off with the Signal Mountain Storm in the championship Saturday afternoon.

The Storm was also 2-0 going into the championship match.

The Stingray's won the hard fought championship by a score of 12-7.

The Stingrays are coached by Andrew Lawrence and Chad Hunkapiller. The Stingray's are undefeated in indoor play this year.

The Storm is now 6-2-0 for the season and is coached by Rob Wright, Kenny Engles and Frank Ramseur.

Weather Affects Lee Baseball And Softball This Weekend, Covenant Tennis Postponed

Due to rain and possible snow in the forecast Friday evening, the Lee baseball team moved up the start of their weekend series against Shawnee State University.
