Black History Month Poster Contest
Monday, Jan. 12, 4–5:30 p.m. (Sign ups start Jan. 7)
Ages 7—12. Staff will work with children to begin making a poster to celebrate a famous person for Black History Month. To enter the contest, draw or color to create the visual art and turn it in by Feb. 5. There will be three age groups. First, second and third place winners in each group will receive trophies, ribbons, and have their worked displayed at the center through the month. Call Michael Todd at 425-3600.
Ballet Tennessee
Tuesday, Jan. 13, 4:30-6:30 p.m.
Ages 13-17 will get to enjoy a dance workshop with this prestigious dance company. Free.
