Luxury Home On The Lake In Hixson Goes For $1,875,000

A luxury home on the lake in Hixson drew a high bid of $1,875,000 at an auction on Thursday night.

Counting the buyer's premium of 10 percent, the total amount was $2,062,500.

Dr. Don Flanagan had the high bid for the upscale home at 2129 Clematis Dr.

The home was built in 2000 by Tony Williams and has been occupied by him since then.

Henry Glascock of John Dixon & Associations Auction, said the deal is still pending acceptance by Mr. Williams. It was not an "absolute" auction.

Man Tells Police He Just Murdered His Wife

Ammonia Leak At BASF On Amnicola Highway Causes Major Traffic Backups

Thank You, Judge Mattice And Chattanooga

I would like to thank Judge Mattice for handing down a 30.5 year sentence for Kathleen Mathews.  Obviously, no amount of jail time, fines, or lashings can bring back Tim Chapin.   A 30-year sentence will, however, make the world just a little safer.  That's what Sgt.
