Baylor's Red Raiders won their sixth game of the season Friday night behind the play of quarterback Jacob Huesman.
Huesman, a junior, completed 7 of 18 passes for 88 yards and ran for 167 yards on seven carries as Baylor defeated Pope John Paul II, 51-7, at Heywood Stadium.
The Red Raiders improved to 6-2 overall and 3-2 in Division II-AA. PJP dropped to 2-6 and 0-5.
Huesman threw touchdown passes to Matthew Oolerich and Mack Ferguson.
Red Raider tailback Sam Williams had seven carries for 87 yards and a touchdown.
Oolerich moved to quarterback in the second half and scored on a 54-yard run.
