Soddy Daisy Contractor Faces Theft Over $60,000 Charge

Wednesday, October 21, 2009

A Soddy Daisy contractor has been indicted by the Hamilton County Grand Jury on a charge of theft over $60,000.

The indictment against Thomas D. Luketic, owner of TDL Construction, says it occurred between Oct. 1, 2004, and Dec. 31, 2005.

It says the contractor took property belonging to Thomas Sheehy.

Brenda Sheehy, wife of Thomas Sheehy, said the couple hired TDL Construction for a $1 million remodeling of their home on the lake in Hixson.

She claimed the couple was overbilled and that a number of items the couple paid for were not installed in their home.

She said T.U. Parks Construction was hired to finish the job.

The Sheehys have had a long-running civil lawsuit against contractor Luketic.

Thomas Sheehy gave testimony before the Grand Jury.
