NASHVILLE – McCallie had more first downs than Father Ryan, 22-9.
The Blue Tornado had 328 yards of offense compared to 166 for Father Ryan.
However, McCallie turned the ball over four times and lost to Father Ryan, 17-12, in a Division II high school football game here Friday night.
Father Ryan improved to 6-3 and McCallie dropped to 4-5.
Father Ryan took a 14-3 lead into halftime and held on for the victory.
T.J. Kemp scored McCallie’s only touchdown and ran for 70 yards on 17 caries.
