Madge Elsea Phillips, 87, of Red Bank, died on Friday, October 30, 2009.

Madge was a member of White Oak United Methodist Church for over 55 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Madge was preceded in death by her parents, John A. and Sally E. Elsea; her daughter, Judith P. Wilson; her brother, Clyde M. Elsea, and her sister, Clarice E. Ferguson.

Survivors include her husband of 71 years, Albert E. Phillips, of Red Bank; grandsons and spouses, Matthew and Kristine McGovern, of Sugar Hill, Ga., and Justin and Cynthia McGovern, of Panama City, Fl.; great-grandchildren, Chelsea and Ryan McGovern, of Sugar Hill, Ga.; son-in-law, Charlie Wilson, of Hixson; and nephew and spouse, Joe and Melody Ferguson, of East Ridge.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 2, at White Oak United Methodist Church with Pastor Amy Cook officiating.

Interment will immediately follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 1, at the Coulter Chapel of Lane Funeral Home.

Waldo Oran Kinser, 58, of Chatsworth, Ga., died Sunday, February 12, 2012 at his residence. Man Tells Police He Just Murdered His Wife

Ammonia Leak At BASF On Amnicola Highway Causes Major Traffic Backups
