HLR Family Care Opens In East Brainerd

Wednesday, November 11, 2009

HLR Family Care will hold its grand opening at 8150 East Brainerd Road on Nov. 16, at 10 a.m.

The Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce is making the arrangements for the event.

HLR Family Care is a nurse practitioner-staffed medical care office that offers same day appointments as well as walk-ins. Services include, but are not limited to, physicals, blood work and routine medical exams, as well as treatments for flu, fever, aches, colds and minor injuries.

Carlton Rose, manager of HLR Family Care, said, “At HLR our customers are treated with an exceptional quality of medical care in a timely manner. The Journal of American Medical Association reported in 1999 that ‘If banks, airlines, financial services, and hotels treated their customers to the levels of waiting and inconvenience that are the norm in healthcare they would be unable to survive.’”

The practice is open Monday through Thursday, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., and Friday, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. The extended hours will begin Dec. 6. The hours will be Sundays, from 2-8 p.m., and Monday through Thursday, from 9-11 p.m.

Call 423 855-8635 to schedule an appointment.
