County Stars Help Host Wamp Events In Middle Tennessee

Country music stars John Rich and Gretchen Wilson, Christian recording artists Nicole C. Mullen and Paul Colman, and the mayors of Rutherford County, Smyrna and LaVergne are among the special guests and hosts at three upcoming Middle Tennessee fundraising events announced today by Zach Wamp in support of his campaign for governor.

Rep. Wamp said, “Our campaign is rolling and we are grateful for all of the support we are getting all across our great state. In recent weeks our good friends Larry Gatlin, Michael W. Smith, John Rich and hundreds of others have endorsed my candidacy and have come on board to help us spread the word about our 20/20 Vision for Tennessee’s Future and to help us grow our support statewide.



“Now I am pleased that even more special friends are coming together to help me at three very important and special fundraising events designed to help introduce me and attract even greater support at a variety of volunteer events and financial levels here in Middle Tennessee.”

Below are key details about the three upcoming events:

Rutherford County Leadership Event at the Home of Mayor and Mrs. Tony Dover in Smyrna on Friday evening, Nov. 20.

Smyrna Mayor Tony Dover, Rutherford County Mayor Ernest Burgess and LaVergne Mayor Ronnie Erwin join a large Rutherford County host committee for a fundraising reception honoring Zach Wamp in the Smyrna home of Mayor Tony and Brandi Dover from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 20. “Thanksgiving Week Family Celebration” with Nicole C. Mullen and Paul Colman in Franklin on Monday evening, Nov. 23.

Grammy-nominated Christian music artists Nicole C.Mullen and Paul Colman (formerly of the Newsboys) will join Zach Wamp and many others at a special “Thanksgiving Week Family Celebration” in the Family Barn of Julian and Valerie Head on Carters Creek Pike in Franklin on Monday evening, Nov. 23, from 5-7 p.m. The fun event is designed to give holiday thanks while enjoying great food, great musical entertainment and supporting Zach Wamp and his campaign for Governor. John Rich and Gretchen Wilson Celebrate Zach Wamp in Nashville on Saturday Night, December 5th

Country Star John Rich and his wife Joan will host an event in their brand new Nashville home for Zach Wamp on Saturday night, Dec. 5. Country star Gretchen Wilson will join host John Rich and several other surprise guests to help entertain guests during the event. This will be the first event ever held in Rich’s brand new home overlooking downtown Nashville. Contributions for the general reception and musical performances are $1,000 per person; tickets for a special pre-event photo reception are $2,500 per person. Prosecutors Asking Maximum Sentence For "Evil" Mother Of Jesse Mathews

Prosecutors are asking that the mother of the man charged with killing Chattanooga Police Sgt. Mark Phillips Was Victim In Fatal Hixson Pike Wreck

Mark Phillips, 54, was the victim in a fatal Hixson Pike wreck on Saturday afternoon. Police said the driver of the Ford F150 that went out of control and struck the Phillips vehicle was 68-year-old Warren Elliott.
