Temple Of Praise Hosts Friend Day And Thanksgiving Dinner

Temple of Praise, located at 432 Mack Smith Road, will host Friend Day on Sunday, Nov. 22. Pastor Danny Lance and congregation will be welcoming both old and new friends for a special Sunday morning service, and will be serving a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner that evening.

All are invited for worship, fellowship, and to meet Pastor Lance, who has just joined this ministry after serving 7 years as Worship Pastor of The Crossing in Chattanooga.

Morning worship begins at 10:30, during which nursery and children’s activities are provided at this kid-friendly, secure location. A traditional home-cooked turkey dinner with all the trimmings will begin at 6 p.m.

Brainerd Baptist Hosts Parents' Night Out Feb. 17

Man Tells Police He Just Murdered His Wife

A Chattanooga man told police Monday night that he had just murdered his wife.  Police said Robert Lee Hardnett, 50. showed up at the County Jail to turn himself in at 8:40 p.m. He said his wife's body could be found at his place of employment, Power Supply Company, 1907 Daisy St.   Officers responded to that address and found the body of 34-year-old Elizabeth ... Red Bank Commissioners Choose Kenneth Welch To Replace Greg Jones; Jeno Won't Run Again

The four remaining members of the Red Bank Commission held a special called meeting on Tuesday and chose Kenneth Welch as the replacement for Vice Mayor Greg Jones, who moved to Alaska.
