Tuesday, November 17, 2009

Snap Kids, a boutique kids apparel company, has signed a five-year lease for 974 square feet of Warehouse Row.

The Nashville-based children’s clothing store joins other Warehouse Row retailers, which include home furnishings store and design studio Revival, boutique jeweler Amanda Pinson Jewelry, beauty store The Cosmetic Market, shoes and accessories boutique Embellish, beauty salon Level 10, Yves Delorme, a purveyor of French linens, as well as Nathan Lindley’s restaurant Public House.

Jamestown created Warehouse Row through the adaptive reuse of a series of warehouse structures, currently comprising 330,000 square feet of mixed-use boutique retail and office space.

“Jamestown’s unique market positioning has enabled us to attract a complementary and dynamic group of retail and corporate tenants at Warehouse Row,” said Michael Phillips, creative director for Jamestown. “As one of the many businesses opening at Warehouse Row, Snap Kids is a natural addition that will enhance and complement the retail neighborhood. They are a company with community-oriented principles that run parallel to Jamestown’s strategic focus on sustainable projects, green initiatives and mixed-use developments.”

Snap Kids expands its operations in the Southeast with a new store at Warehouse Row, which joins the flagship location in Nashville and a store in Birmingham. Snap Kids offers apparel and footwear for children up to age 14. The store will be a spot for parents to find signature lines such as Ella Moss, Splendid, Room Seven, True Religion, Sevens and Hudson Jeans. Additional services include personal shopping and regular trunk shows.

Snap Kids plans to open its doors at Warehouse Row on Dec. 1. Email info@snapkids.net to receive more information as well as a grand opening invitation.

“Snap Kids is anxious and excited to be a part of Warehouse Row as well as the Chattanooga community,” said owner Leah Bentley. “Catering to boys and girls from infants to tweens, we're excited to bring our children’s store to the downtown area and showcase our combination of lines. The overall collection of apparel, from larger designers such as Marc Jacobs and Juicy Couture to boutique brands such as Neige and Baby Bean, offers clients unique pieces that are stylish, comfortable and durable."
