Leif Evan Thomas, 52, of Jasper, Tn., died suddenly on Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009.
He was a big hearted man who cared for everyone, but especially his children, grandchildren and other kids. He was a hard worker, sometimes working two jobs, creative with electronics and loved sailboating and the outdoors.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dr. Earl Wesley Thomas.
He is survived by his wife, Nicole Crabtree Thomas of Jasper; mother, Marilyn (Ray) Williams of Jasper; children, Patrick Kilcoyne, Heather Kilcoyne, Luke Howard, Brittany Howard, Elizabeth May Thomas, Rachel Emma Thomas, Jacob Key and Sophia Taylor Thomas; step-grandchildren, Ruby, Ryan, Tyler, Savannah and Steven; aunt, Beverly (Dan) Sweeton; sisters, Nini Thomas and Marilyn Ann Hessel; brothers, Brice Wesley Austin and Kevin Duncan Thomas; nephews, Thomas, Matthew and Alexander Austin; step-brothers, Tim Williams, Wayne Williams and Ricky Brown.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Jasper Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home on Thursday, Nov. 19, at 1 p.m. CST with Reverend Howard Howell officiating.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday, Nov. 18, from 5-8 p.m. CST at Rogers Funeral Home in Jasper.
