Thanks To Those Who Helped With "Rockin For Rob"

Wednesday, November 18, 2009

Hello Folks,
Many thanks for all who came out and supported the "Rockin For Rob" benefit concert for Rob Hasselle which took place at Rhythm and Brews on Monday.

Roger Alan Wade played a wonderful set and Overland Express rocked the house (still one of the best bands anywhere you will ever get to see). With the conjunction of all we raised over $3000.00 for Rob, and this warms my heart. Many Thanks to Dixie, Shannon and Karen from Friends Of The Festival: to Mike, Racheal and Adam for "backline support." Thanks to Skip, Phillip and Doug for audio support. Thanks to Local #140 for their contributions; also thanks to members of the Chattanooga Symphony, Musicians Union #80, members of our local arts schools (C.C.A. and C.S.A.S. ) for their attendance as well.

A big ol' thanks to Mike and his staff at Rhythm and Brews for the venue. And thanks to you if you attended or sent a check, or if you just happen to be reading this .

In closing "Chattanooga" ( some people argue about what this word means). On Nov.16, this word meant "To give."
