Clyde Grant, 90, of Chattanooga, died on Wednesday, November 18, 2009.

He was the son of the late Foster and Rebecca Hughes Grant.

Clyde was the founder and co-owner Clyde’s Auto Glass and attended Brainerd United Methodist Church.

He was a WWII Army veteran, serving as a Jump Master with the 508th Parachute Infantry and member of the American Legion.

Clyde was an avid golfer and a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Survivors include his loving and devoted wife of 67 years, Alnita Grant; son, Don (Jo) Grant, Lookout Mountain; daughter, Joyce Payne, Atlanta; sister, Roxie Jones, Ringgold; five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 20, at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors, and Rev. Genevieve DeHoog will be officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to Brainerd United Methodist Church, 4315 Brainerd Road, Chattanooga, Tn. 37411.

Albert C. Kiser, 102, of Chattanooga, died on Monday, Feb. 13, 2012, surrounded by family.   He was born on Dec. 27, 1909, in Somerset, Ky. to the late Albert and Ethel Kiser.   He retired from TVA after 35 years, was a member of Red Bank Baptist Church for 63 years and member of the Fellowship Class. Waldo Oran Kinser, 58, of Chatsworth, Ga., died Sunday, February 12, 2012 at his residence. Waldo was born May 12, 1953 in Ellijay, Ga., a son of the late Wilbur Oran and Texxie Dotson Kinser; and was also preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Kinser; and sister, Debbie Kinser. Man Tells Police He Just Murdered His Wife
