Corker To Hold Town Hall At Polk County Tuesday; At Chattanooga Rotary Wednesday

Senator Bob Corker will be the speaker for the meeting of the Chattanooga Rotary Club on Wednesday.

It will be at noon at the Convention Center.

Senator Corker will hold a town hall meeting at Black Bear Cove Resort in Benton on Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. It is open to the public.

He will provide an update on his work in Washington and take questions from the audience.

By Thanksgiving, Senator Corker will have made 157 visits to 70 Tennessee counties this year. Since coming to the Senate in 2007, he has been to each of Tennessee’s 95 counties at least twice and made more than 470 visits throughout the state.

Man Tells Police He Just Murdered His Wife

Red Bank Commissioners Choose Kenneth Welch To Replace Greg Jones; Jeno Won't Run Again

The four remaining members of the Red Bank Commission held a special called meeting on Tuesday and chose Kenneth Welch as the replacement for Vice Mayor Greg Jones, who moved to Alaska. Thank You, Judge Mattice And Chattanooga

I would like to thank Judge Mattice for handing down a 30.5 year sentence for Kathleen Mathews.  Obviously, no amount of jail time, fines, or lashings can bring back Tim Chapin.   A 30-year sentence will, however, make the world just a little safer.  That's what Sgt.
