Crane, Hamilton LeRoy "Roy"

Hamilton LeRoy “Roy” Crane, 88, of East Ridge, died on Friday, Nov. 20, 2009, in a local health care facility.

He was a member of The Crossing (formerly East Ridge Church of God), was involved in the Bus Ministry and was instrumental in leading many people to Christ. Mr. Crane had done nursing home ministry for over 30 years. He was self-employed as an excellent brick mason.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ora Bell Smith Crane.

Survivors include his wife, Louise Daniels Crane; two stepsons, Luke Daniels and his wife, Linda of Rock Spring, Ga., and Wayne Daniels and his wife Cindy of Chattanooga; several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 23, at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Terry Harris, Pastor Ken Davis, and Pastor Al Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Ooltewah Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga or to NHC of Chattanooga.

Albert C. Kiser, 102, of Chattanooga, died on Monday, Feb. 13, 2012, surrounded by family.   He was born on Dec. 27, 1909, in Somerset, Ky. to the late Albert and Ethel Kiser.   He retired from TVA after 35 years, was a member of Red Bank Baptist Church for 63 years and member of the Fellowship Class. Kinser, Waldo Oran (Chatsworth)

Waldo Oran Kinser, 58, of Chatsworth, Ga., died Sunday, February 12, 2012 at his residence. Waldo was born May 12, 1953 in Ellijay, Ga., a son of the late Wilbur Oran and Texxie Dotson Kinser; and was also preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Kinser; and sister, Debbie Kinser. Man Tells Police He Just Murdered His Wife

Red Bank Commissioners Choose Kenneth Welch To Replace Greg Jones; Jeno Won't Run Again

The four remaining members of the Red Bank Commission held a special called meeting on Tuesday and chose Kenneth Welch as the replacement for Vice Mayor Greg Jones, who moved to Alaska.
