Robinson, Hale Power South Pittsburg Into Class 1A Semifinals

SOUTH PITTSBURG, Tenn. – Terrell Robinson ran for three touchdowns and passed for another here Friday night in leading South Pittsburg past Gordonsville, 46-7, in a Class 1A state playoff quarterfinal.

Raquis Hale added three touchdown runs for the Pirates.

South Pittsburg will play at Knoxville Grace in a semifinal next week.

The South Pittsburg win marked the seventh time in its last 10 playoff games that the mercy rule was invoked.

Robinson ran for touchdowns of 59, 42 and 5 and threw a 42-yard touchdown pass to Malcolm Jones.

Hale scored on runs of 3,2 and 77 yards for the Pirates.

Cody Woodmore scored on a 42-yard run for Gordonsvill,

Man Tells Police He Just Murdered His Wife

Red Bank Commissioners Choose Kenneth Welch To Replace Greg Jones; Jeno Won't Run Again
