Frances Brooks Hodge, 88, of Dayton, died Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2009 at Erlanger Hospital.
She was born in Dayton on April 15, 1921 to the late John and Sarah (Fulbright) Brooks; and was also preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Hodge.
Frances was a volunteer at Rhea Medical Center since 1973 and was a lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church in Dayton.
She is survived by her son, Clyde Allan Hodge; granddaughter, Amanda (Bradley) Harwood; sister, Virginia Mary Norris; great-granddaughter, Caroline Brooke Morley; adopted grandchildren, Chris (Amber) Neal and Sierra Neal; and adopted great-granddaughter, Cassidy Neal all of Dayton.
Funeral services for Frances will be held Monday, Nov. 23 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. John Anderson and Sister Opal Scott officiating. Burial will follow in the Buttram Cemetery.
