Worked At Combustion Engineering Over 40 Years

William G. Curtis, 69, of Chattanooga, died on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at a local hospital.

He was employed by Combustion Engineering for over 40 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Curtis and his parents, James L. Curtis and Georgia Muldowney.

Survivors include his daughter, Carol Curtis, son, Gary Curtis; granddaughters, Kristen and Kaitlyn Curtis, and great-granddaughter, Zoe Bratton of Chattanooga; brother, James L. Curtis Jr., of Loudon, Tn.; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 23, at the North Chapel with John Carter officiating. Interment will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday, Nov. 22, from 5-7 p.m. at the North Chapel.

Albert C. Kiser, 102, of Chattanooga, died on Monday, Feb. 13, 2012, surrounded by family.   He was born on Dec. 27, 1909, in Somerset, Ky. to the late Albert and Ethel Kiser.   He retired from TVA after 35 years, was a member of Red Bank Baptist Church for 63 years and member of the Fellowship Class. Waldo Oran Kinser, 58, of Chatsworth, Ga., died Sunday, February 12, 2012 at his residence. Waldo was born May 12, 1953 in Ellijay, Ga., a son of the late Wilbur Oran and Texxie Dotson Kinser; and was also preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Kinser; and sister, Debbie Kinser. Man Tells Police He Just Murdered His Wife

Red Bank Commissioners Choose Kenneth Welch To Replace Greg Jones; Jeno Won't Run Again

The four remaining members of the Red Bank Commission held a special called meeting on Tuesday and chose Kenneth Welch as the replacement for Vice Mayor Greg Jones, who moved to Alaska.
