Laue, Joy Arnott

Joy Arnott Laue, 77, died on Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009, at a local health care center.

A native of New York, she lived in the Ringgold area for the past three years and was formerly of Sebring, Fl.

Joy was a former employee of Orange County Government Center, where she worked for 11 years, and attended First Alliance Church in Chattanooga. An avid bowler, she was inducted into the Tri-State Women’s Bowling Hall of Fame where she also served as vice president.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Louise Bergman Arnott; and uncle, Clarence Bergman.

She is survived by husband, Thomas Laue, of Ringgold; two sons and daughters-in-law, Keith E. and Cindy Laue, of Greer, S.C., and Karl O. and Laurie Ann Laue, of Ringgold; daughter and son-in-law, Vikki L. and John Paxton, of Bloomingburg, N.Y.; aunt; Myrtle Bergman, of Circleville, N.Y.; and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 24, in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Lee Peters officiating.

The family will receive friends from 3-7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 23, and from 8 a.m. until the funeral time on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Kiser, Albert C.

Albert C. Kiser, 102, of Chattanooga, died on Monday, Feb. 13, 2012, surrounded by family.   He was born on Dec. 27, 1909, in Somerset, Ky. to the late Albert and Ethel Kiser.   He retired from TVA after 35 years, was a member of Red Bank Baptist Church for 63 years and member of the Fellowship Class. Kinser, Waldo Oran (Chatsworth)

Waldo Oran Kinser, 58, of Chatsworth, Ga., died Sunday, February 12, 2012 at his residence. Waldo was born May 12, 1953 in Ellijay, Ga., a son of the late Wilbur Oran and Texxie Dotson Kinser; and was also preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Kinser; and sister, Debbie Kinser. Man Tells Police He Just Murdered His Wife

Red Bank Commissioners Choose Kenneth Welch To Replace Greg Jones; Jeno Won't Run Again
