El Metate Opens New Location In Hixson On Dec. 10

El Metate, a Mexican cuisine restaurant, will have a ribbon cutting on Dec. 10 at 10 a.m. El Matate is located in the Creek Plantation Plaza at 5922 Hixson Pike. The Chattanooga area Chamber of Commerce is assisting with arrangements for the event.

El Metate is a family-oriented Mexican restaurant, but there is also a full bar for adults. Happy Hour house margaritas are two for the price of one Monday through Thursday from 3-8 p.m. El Metate also offers lunch specials that alternate every day.

“Our restaurant is a place where you can get fresh Mexican cuisine, quickly and affordably,” said Jackie Onate, owner of El Metate. “It is a place for families and friends to meet and enjoy good food.”

This will be the third location in the Chattanooga area for El Metate. Other locations are in Dunlap and Soddy-Daisy.

Man Tells Police He Just Murdered His Wife

Red Bank Commissioners Choose Kenneth Welch To Replace Greg Jones; Jeno Won't Run Again

Thank You, Judge Mattice And Chattanooga

I would like to thank Judge Mattice for handing down a 30.5 year sentence for Kathleen Mathews.  Obviously, no amount of jail time, fines, or lashings can bring back Tim Chapin.   A 30-year sentence will, however, make the world just a little safer.  That's what Sgt.
