Lee University School Of Music's "A Classic Christmas" To Kick Off Holiday Season

The School of Music will present its 21st annual "A Classic Christmas" on Sunday, Dec. 6, at 3 p.m. in the Conn Center.

The concert, under the direction of Dr. William Green, will feature performances by many of Lee's well-known ensembles and soloists, including Lee University Choral Union, Symphony Orchestra, Symphonic Band, Chorale, Chamber Strings, Percussion Ensemble, and more.

A community holiday tradition, the program will feature a variety of favorite Christmas songs, including classical and contemporary arrangements from composers Bach, Vivaldi, Mack Wilberg, Daniel Pinkham and others.



Admission to the concert is free and open to the public. However, tickets are required due to limited seating. For tickets, visit the Dixon Center box office from 3-6 p.m. on Nov. 23, 30 and Dec. 1-4. Tickets will also be available on Saturday, Dec. 5, from 2-6 p.m. at the box office. Any remaining tickets will be available at the Conn Center lobby from 2-3 p.m. on the day of the concert.

Man Tells Police He Just Murdered His Wife

Red Bank Commissioners Choose Kenneth Welch To Replace Greg Jones; Jeno Won't Run Again

The four remaining members of the Red Bank Commission held a special called meeting on Tuesday and chose Kenneth Welch as the replacement for Vice Mayor Greg Jones, who moved to Alaska. Thank You, Judge Mattice And Chattanooga

I would like to thank Judge Mattice for handing down a 30.5 year sentence for Kathleen Mathews.  Obviously, no amount of jail time, fines, or lashings can bring back Tim Chapin.   A 30-year sentence will, however, make the world just a little safer.  That's what Sgt.
