4 Local Youth Advance In Youth Football Skills Competition

Thursday, November 26, 2009

Chattanooga has four local youth who have advanced to the Tennessee Titans Team Championships for the NFL Punt, Pass, & Kick annual Youth Football Skills Competition. The state finalists will compete on Sunday, in Nashville, before the Titans versus the Arizona Cardinals game.

Each year the City of Chattanooga Parks and Recreation Department facilitates the national NFL Punt, Pass, and Kick Football Skills Competition for youth ages nine to 15. The free event gives football enthusiasts a chance to show their skills and abilities.

Highest scoring contenders in each age group compete locally then advance to sectionals and on to the main championship event.

The four who advanced are:
Boys
14-15 age group - Cody Kidd
12-13 age group - Caleb Peters
10-11 age group - Tyler Enos

Girls
10-11 age group - Kelby Stillwell
