Vernon Lee Weathers, 73, of Calhoun, Ga. and formerly of Humboldt, Tn., died on Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2009 from injuries received from an automobile accident.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Vontella Printup Weathers of Calhoun; daughter, Mrs. Doylean (Houston) Harris of Jackson, Tn.; two sons, Mr. Vernon (Darlene) Weathers of Humboldt, Tn., and Mr. Byron Keith (Patricia) Weathers of Jackson, Tn.; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; five god-children; two sisters, Mrs. Vennie Mae (Cleophous) Davis, Mrs. Penny Mae Vance of Humboldt, Tn.; father-in-law, Mr. Billy Sanders; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Cathy Printup of Kingston, Ga. and Mrs. Elizabeth Printup of Calhoun; three brothers-in-law, Mr. Spencer Printup, Rev. Homer (Carolyn) Printup of Kingston abd Mr. Cleveland Weatherspoon of Humboldt; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral Service will be Sunday, Nov. 29, at 3 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church in Calhoun with Pastor Reginald McDaniel officiating.
The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until the funeral hour.
Memorial Service will be Tuesday, Dec. 1 in Humboldt, Tn. with Baskerville Funeral Home, 802 North 9th Avenue. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
