Lookout Valley Christmas Parade Is Dec. 12

The Lookout Neighborhood Association presents the 19th Annunal Community Christmas Celebration, including the annual commnity Chistmas Parade, on Dec. 12.

The lineup begins at 12:30 p.m. and the parade starts at 1 p.m.

The parade will be from Lookout Valle High School to the old Bi-Lo parking lot on Kelley's Ferry Road.

There is no charge for parade entries. First, second, and third place trophies will be awarded for the most decorative floats. There will be a trophy for the best decorated ATV, which includes 4- Wheelers and any type of ATV.

Those who want to be in the parade should get an applicaion at the John A. Patten Center or get one the day of the parade.

After the parade there will be a community gathering at the John A. Patten Receation Center featuring inflatables, hot dogs, and door prizes.

On Dec. 3, the Lookout Valley Neighborhood Associaion will have its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. at the John A. Patten Recreation Center, 3202 Kelley's Ferry Road.

Man Tells Police He Just Murdered His Wife

Red Bank Commissioners Choose Kenneth Welch To Replace Greg Jones; Jeno Won't Run Again

Thank You, Judge Mattice And Chattanooga

I would like to thank Judge Mattice for handing down a 30.5 year sentence for Kathleen Mathews.  Obviously, no amount of jail time, fines, or lashings can bring back Tim Chapin.   A 30-year sentence will, however, make the world just a little safer.  That's what Sgt.
