State Soccer Tournament Brackets Finalized

The TSSAA released the final bracket for this week's girls state soccer tournament which will take place in Chattanooga beginning on Wednesday.

The Class A/AA and Class AAA brackets were released early Monday morning and the Division II on Tuesday.

Chattanooga Christian School will host the first two rounds of the Class A/AA tournament on Wednesday and Thursday. GPS will host the first two rounds of the Class AAA.

The Division IIAA semifinals will be played on Thursday at Baylor and the finals will be played Friday at GPS.

Both the Class A/AA and Class AAA finals will take place on Saturday at GPS.

Notre Dame and CCS will represent the host city in Class A/AA, but no local team qualified for the Class AAA tournament.

Baylor will play on Thursday in Division IIAA.

Ammonia Leak At BASF On Amnicola Highway Causes Major Traffic Backups

An Anhydrous Ammonia leak at BASF Corporation on Amnicola Highway is causing major traffic issues this morning. Woman Shot Up To 8 Times In East Chattanooga Murder

Chattanooga Police pfficers responded Monday night to 1907 Daisy St. in East Chattanooga on a report of a woman who had been shot.  When they arrived around 9 p.m., they found a female inside the business who had been shot 4-6 times.
