A three-vehicle crash early Monday afternoon at East Brainerd Road and Graysville Road sent one woman to the hospital with serious injuries.
The accident occurred around 12:30 p.m. when a Subaru driven by 24-year-old Roxie Cramer pulled into the path of a waste management (Mack) truck. The impact spun the Subaru into the path of a third vehicle and up against a support beam of a local strip mall before it came to rest.
The third vehicle suffered minor damage.
Ms. Cramer had to be extricated from her vehicle and was taken to Erlanger Hospital suffering from multiple fractures, lacerations and contusions.
No one else was injured in the accident and no charges will be filed.
