The director of research at Siskin Children’s Institute will be the main speaker at an international conference on disabilities this week in Madrid, Spain.
On Thursday and Friday, Robin McWilliam, Ph.D., director of the Siskin Center for Child and Family Research, will present at the Third Interdisciplinary Conference on Developmental Disabilities/Disorders and Early Intervention, which is held in conjunction with the European Conference on Early Intervention.
At the joint conference, Dr. McWilliam will discuss one of his research topics: “Routines-Based Early Intervention: Addressing the Foundations of Learning in Natural Environments.”
The joint conference will focus on early intervention service coordination/health, educational and social-service environments. The two-day event is organized by GENYSI, a neonatal studies and intervention services group, and EURLYAID, the European Early Intervention Association.
