Earlyne Hinson, 84, formerly of Chattanooga, died on Tuesday, November 3, 2009 in Duluth, Georgia.

Mrs. Hinson was born in Celina, Tn., to Oscar and Mae Etta Reed. She was a former member of Brainerd Church of Christ, and a retired school teacher for Chattanooga City Schools.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Russell C. Hinson; daughter, Margie Bullock and her husband, Rick of Duluth, Ga.; and grandsons, Rusty, Jody, and Zach.

Memorial donations may be made to Brainerd Church of Christ.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 5, at the funeral home.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 6, at Chattanooga National Cemetery. A procession will leave from the funeral home at 9:15 a.m.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, Nov. 6, at the funeral home with Minister John Cupp officiating.

Arrangements are by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory, and Florist, 404 South Moore Road, East Ridge, Tn. 37412, 423 698-2541.

Chattanooga Police pfficers responded Monday night to 1907 Daisy St. in East Chattanooga on a report of a woman who had been shot.
