Earlyne Hinson, 84, formerly of Chattanooga, died on Tuesday, November 3, 2009 in Duluth, Georgia.

Mrs. Hinson was born in Celina, Tn., to Oscar and Mae Etta Reed. She was a former member of Brainerd Church of Christ, and a retired school teacher for Chattanooga City Schools.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Russell C. Hinson; daughter, Margie Bullock and her husband, Rick of Duluth, Ga.; and grandsons, Rusty, Jody, and Zach.

Memorial donations may be made to Brainerd Church of Christ.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 5, at the funeral home.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 6, at Chattanooga National Cemetery. A procession will leave from the funeral home at 9:15 a.m.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, Nov. 6, at the funeral home with Minister John Cupp officiating.

Kinser, Waldo Oran (Chatsworth)

Waldo Oran Kinser, 58, of Chatsworth, Ga., died Sunday, February 12, 2012 at his residence. Waldo was born May 12, 1953 in Ellijay, Ga., a son of the late Wilbur Oran and Texxie Dotson Kinser; and was also preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Kinser; and sister, Debbie Kinser. Ammonia Leak At BASF On Amnicola Highway Causes Major Traffic Backups

An Anhydrous Ammonia leak at BASF Corporation on Amnicola Highway is causing major traffic issues this morning. The leak reportedly occurred shortly before 5 a.m. The Chattanooga Fire Department responded with several fire companies, and the haz-mat team. Woman Shot Up To 8 Times In East Chattanooga Murder

Chattanooga Police pfficers responded Monday night to 1907 Daisy St. in East Chattanooga on a report of a woman who had been shot.  When they arrived around 9 p.m., they found a female inside the business who had been shot 4-6 times.
