Bobby Turner, 61, of Chattanooga, died on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009.

A native of Chattanooga, he was the son of the late John Lewis Turner, and his mother who survives him, Joyce Hoodenpyle.

He was a member of the East Ridge Masonic Lodge and was a Shriner.

He was retired from Jones Printing Co. and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors other than his mother include his son, Bob Turner, of Franklin, Tn.; his daughter, Becky Turner Broadvine, of Nashville; two granddaughters, Ashton and Reagan Turner; one niece, Nona Jenno Vaught, of Dallas, Texas; and many close dear friends who he saw daily.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Nov. 6, at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Wann Funeral Home, with the Rev. Lemuel Wade officiating. Burial will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, West.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Visitation will be on Thursday, Nov. 5, from 5:30-8 p.m. at Wann Funeral Home, St. Elmo.

Allen L. Kinser, Waldo Oran (Chatsworth)

Waldo Oran Kinser, 58, of Chatsworth, Ga., died Sunday, February 12, 2012 at his residence. Waldo was born May 12, 1953 in Ellijay, Ga., a son of the late Wilbur Oran and Texxie Dotson Kinser; and was also preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Kinser; and sister, Debbie Kinser. Ammonia Leak At BASF On Amnicola Highway Causes Major Traffic Backups

An Anhydrous Ammonia leak at BASF Corporation on Amnicola Highway is causing major traffic issues this morning. The leak reportedly occurred shortly before 5 a.m. The Chattanooga Fire Department responded with several fire companies, and the haz-mat team. Woman Shot Up To 8 Times In East Chattanooga Murder

Chattanooga Police pfficers responded Monday night to 1907 Daisy St. in East Chattanooga on a report of a woman who had been shot.  When they arrived around 9 p.m., they found a female inside the business who had been shot 4-6 times.
