Dorothy Jane "Dot Dot" Price, 73, died on Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009 in a Chattanooga hospital from injuries received in an automobile accident.

She was a graduate of Sequatchie County High School, a member of Dunlap First Baptist Church and a retiree of the United States Postal Service as a rural mail carrier.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Tom W. and Leila A. Price; three brothers, Armon (Fatty), Grady and Marvin (Bob) Price.

She is survived by her sister, Tressie Mae (L. G.) Headrick; brother, Wayne (Romanza) Price; sister-in-law Lorraine Price of Dunlap; nieces, Cindy and Debbie Price; nephews, Marvin and Tony Price; many other relatives and friends; and her dog, Foxy Lady.

The family would like to express their appreciation for all the visits, phone calls, cards and especially all the prayers they have received during this trying time. They would like to extend special thanks to Fern Lockhart for all the hard work, help and comfort she has given us during this time.

Services will be Saturday, Nov. 7, at 11 a.m. CST in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Randy Harmon officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery.

Visitation is Friday, Nov. 6, from 12-8 p.m. CST.
