Church Ladies Think Pink

To help raise awareness of the need for early detection of breast cancer, Volunteer State Health Plan (VSHP) has partnered with the Mother’s Ministry at Olivet Baptist Church to sponsor Church Ladies Think Pink, a free breast cancer awareness event on Saturday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. The event will be at Waterhouse Pavilion at Miller Plaza.

The event will feature mammograms, blood pressure, glucose and BMI screenings. Breast cancer survivors will give testimonals. Music will be provided by D.J. Bell with performances by local vocalists. There will be door prizes drawings.

Man Tells Police He Just Murdered His Wife

An Chattanooga man told police Monday night that he had just murdered his wife.  Police said Robert Hardnett showed up at the County Jail to turn himself in. An Anhydrous Ammonia leak at BASF Corporation on Amnicola Highway is causing major traffic issues this morning. Thank You, Judge Mattice And Chattanooga

I would like to thank Judge Mattice for handing down a 30.5 year sentence for Kathleen Mathews.  Obviously, no amount of jail time, fines, or lashings can bring back Tim Chapin.   A 30-year sentence will, however, make the world just a little safer.  That's what Sgt.
