Grits Worship Concert Is Saturday

Monday, November 09, 2009

Grits, Gospel Music's top selling Christian Hip Hop artist of all time, is performing live at Mosaic Church Saturday evening. Five time Gospel Music Association Dove Award winner and two time Grammy nominated rap artist Grits will bring their message of transformation and hope to the inner city youth of Chattanooga.

Mosaic's G.A.N.G. Ministry (Gathering A New Generation) exists to reach, save, and mentor gang members of Chattanooga.

They reach gang members in a relevant way in order to build relationships, and then provide a path by which they can exit the gang lifestyle and discover the true purpose for their life.

Mosaic has worship/outreach services for inner city youth every Saturday evening. The public is invited to come experience the worship service Saturday evening with guests Grits. Other local young rap artists will be performing, Mosaic's break dancing team will be spinning on the dance floor, and Mosaic's art gallery will be showcasing a variety of young inner city art student's paintings.

Many of these rappers, dancers, and artists used to be in local gangs but now have chosen a positive lifestyle sharing their visual and performing arts.

The Grits worship concert will be held at 7:30 p.m. A $10 donation at the door is suggested or a new toy for our Inner City Children's Christmas Outreach.
