Wright Brothers has completed an emergency repair project on Signal Mountain, TDOT officials said early Saturday afternoon.
The road was reopened to two lanes of traffic around 1:30 p.m.
Traffic will run on a temporary surface until TDOT maintenance crews can put down a more permanent surface, currently scheduled to take place on Monday during non-peak hours, weather permitting.
The crews will not start work until after 9 a.m. and it should not take too long to finish, officials said.
