Everyone in Congress and the President know exactly what would
stimulate the economy, but they won't do it because they would lose
power. The answer is dumping our disgraceful tax system and replacing it with a fair, flat, equitable, and thus a simpler, tax system. This
includes all types, capital gains, unearned, earned and other types.
This would eliminate things like the AMT and Death taxes.
A major problem Congress has is an inverted perception of what they
are supposed to do and be. They are our servants, not us as their
servants.
This monstrosity called Health Care Reform is not about health care.
It is about control and nothing else. I get just a little bit cynical
when Democrats want to force feed us this junk, and not a single one
(including all their friends and associates) will accept going on this
program they want us to accept.
