A fund to benefit the family of Susan Wood, a Unum employee who was killed by a hit and run driver last Wednesday, has been established through Trust Federal Credit Union.
Unum officials said Mrs. Wood was a billing representative in IDI Business Operations who worked with business partners all over the country.
The fund in her name "was established in response to calls from people in home and field offices who wanted to show their support for her family."
Donations can be made in person or via mail. Those who work in Chattanooga can bring either cash or a check made out to Trust FCU with ‘Susan Wood fund’ on the memo line to the credit union branch in the East Building.

Jeremy Lane, 24, has been charged in the case.
Bonding officials said his high bond was made by his father, described as a high-ranking attorney for Unum.
The address given for Lane on his arrest sheet is the same as that of Unum assistant vice president Gary K. Bond.
