Joe Prebul Back In The Car Business In Chattanooga

Hired As Sales Manager For Lexus At Capital Toyota

Wednesday, December 09, 2009

Joe Prebul is back in the car business in Chattanooga.

He has been hired as the sales manager for the Lexus lot of Capital Toyota.

His attorney, Tom Ray, said, "Joe is excited for this opportunity. He is still the best car salesman in Chattanooga."

Mr. Prebul formerly had several area dealerships. However, he lost the business to bankruptcy and had to file personal bankruptcy after he was arrested for federal felony wire fraud charges.

He wound up pleading guilty to a single misdemeanor in a courtroom in New York City.

The case involved allegations that his brother-in-law, Danny Bensusan, had sent millions of dollars to be invested and that he had used portions of the money for a lavish lifestyle and to prop up the failing dealerships.
