Georgia Revenue Collections Down Whopping 34.8% For February

Georgia Gov. Sonny Perdue announced today that net revenue collections for the month of February 2009 (fiscal year 2009) totaled $629,448,000 compared to $965,846,000 for February 2008 (FY08).

The decrease is $336,398,000 or 34.8 percent.

The percentage decrease year-to-date for fiscal year 2009 compared to fiscal year 2008 is 7.3 percent.

Mother Of Man Charged With Killing Sgt. Chapin Given Prison Sentence Of 30 Years, 6 Months
