Sheriff's Office Looking For Wallace R. Jenkins

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office is trying to locate Wallace R. Jenkins, who is wanted on several charges.

Jenkins is a white male, 29, who is known to frequent the Birchwood, Georgetown and Cleveland communities. He is also a suspect in numerous auto thefts that have occurred in the Birchwood area of Hamilton County, authorities said.

They said he "is known to have a history of violence and is believed to be armed."

Jenkins has warrants in Hamilton County for the following: harassment/oral threats, theft over $1,000, evading arrest, use of stolen license plates, altering of vehicle title or plate and probation violation for theft over $1,000.

He is also wanted in Bradley County for a state parole violation for promotion and manufacture of methamphetamine.



The sheriff's office said, "Anyone with information on where he can be located should immediately notify the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office or the law enforcement agency in their area."

Hamilton County Clerk Bill Knowles said that less than a month remains for county residents wishing to upgrade their non-photo driver’s license without cost in the County Clerk’s Courthouse office.
