Mark R. Calhoun, 33, died on Monday, April 20, 2009.

He was born on May 3, 1975 in Chattanooga.

He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Alex and Lizzy Carter and paternal grandfather, Arthur Calhoun.

Mark is survived by his devoted and loving mother, Mary Ann Calhoun; devoted and loving father, James E. (Terry) Calhoun; three children, Marcella Nicole, LaKresha and Kedarrious Calhoun; one brother, James Lebron (Lanise) Calhoun; two sisters, Sophia Calhoun and Starlene (Lee) Rollins; paternal grandmother, Bernice Calhoun; one step-sister, and two step-brothers; three nieces and three nephews; five aunts and three uncles; special friend, Pernell Bell; several cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Friday at John P. Franklin Funeral Home with Rev. Harold K. Lester officiating. Interment will be in Highland Cemetery.

Visitation will be after noon on Thursday at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue, 622-9995.

Boyd Says $4.1 Million In County Budget Cuts Would Yield $43.1 Million For School Projects; Proposes That CSLA Move To Dalewood
