Kelly, Willodean

Willodean Kelly, 88, of Collegedale, died on Monday, May 25, 2009 in a local health care facility.

Mrs. Kelly was a member of Collegedale Seventh Day Adventist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Jackson Kelly.

Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Coulter, Collegedale; Jacqueline McPherson, Ooltewah; brother, Woodall Fletcher, sister, Beatrice Bullington, both of Huntington, Tn.; two grandchildren, Charles W. Gentry, Tonya Dunn, five great-grandchildren, C.J. Gentry, Mindy Gentry, Kelsey Gentry, Blake Dunn and Erica Dunn.

Services will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Dwight Herod officiating. Interment will be in Collegedale Cemetery with her grandsons and great-grandsons serving as pallbearers.

Mark Phillips Was Victim In Fatal Hixson Pike Wreck

Mark Phillips, 54, was the victim in a fatal Hixson Pike wreck on Saturday afternoon. Police said the driver of the Ford F150 that went out of control and struck the Phillips vehicle was 68-year-old Warren Elliott.
