To celebrate the Delta Queen’s 82nd birthday, the steamboat will host a birthday party (weather permitting) from noon-1 p.m. on Tuesday in Coolidge Park. On Wednesday from noon-5 p.m., the Hunter Museum of American Art will host Senior Day, and guests age 55 and over will receive a special discounted admission and enjoy a performance by the UTC Saxophone Quartet, guided tours and craft activities. Judge Hollingsworth Rules Littlefield Recall Effort Invalid, Cancels August Mayoral Election

Circuit Court Judge Jeff Hollingsworth on Friday afternoon ruled that the effort to recall Mayor Ron Littlefield was invalid and he canceled a planned special mayoral election in August to replace him.
