Crazy Cap And Trade Bill

Saturday, June 27, 2009

I cannot believe that the HR 2454 tax and cap bill passed the House of Representatives yesterday.

I know many people may not have even known about this massive tax bill, Let's face it, more important things happened like the police searching for Michael Jackson's doctor and all.

But people all across this country will be greatly affected by this bill, regardless of income, political views or anything. Obama even admitted in January of this year that this bill will make electricity rates skyrocket.

Everyone go to Youtube and search for Obama Cap and Trade and you will see for yourself. And, no, it isn't some voice over saying what I am stating. It is footage from an interview.

There are reports that this bill alone will increase gas prices by 55% and electricity rates will increase by 90%.

Everyone needs to contact their senators when they return to Washington after July 4. Better yet, if you see Senator Corker around, just ask him about it.

The people who support this bill say it is needed to protect the environment. Well, I just don't buy it. I believe the climate is changing, but is regulating carbon dioxide going to do anything? If so, let's make a law that everyone in this country holds their breath for one minute every hour in order to reduce emissions.

Everyone agrees there was an Ice Age long ago. Anyone ever care to explain where the ice went? I haven't heard anyone address this fact. Was it the coal plant that the cavemen built? Was it the cavemen driving a large SUV across the country to go to Disney Cave? There were no cars, no factories, nothing that they blame for climate change now but the ice melted anyway. Seems to be a fact that they cannot explain or would even care to.

They predict what is going to happen 10, 20 and even 100 years from now, but they can't tell me what the forecast is one month from now. I guess they could tell me, but it wouldn't be accurate.

Has the shape of Florida changed during the past 50 years? Is Hawaii still there?

This government is wanting to control more and more of everyone's life. Before you know it, they will.

I am urging everyone to get involved and stop this takeover of our freedoms and liberties. There is time to stop this, but, without everyone making a phone call or sending an email to their representative, nothing will stop this crazy bill from becoming law.

Just a question. doesn't water expand when it is frozen? Just get a plastic Coke bottle and fill it up with water and freeze it and watch the bottle expand. If so, wouldn't the ice melting make the ocean levels go down rather than make water levels rise?

A Good School Takes Involvement

As I have read the articles concerning Normal Park School I can’t keep from thinking when our children started to school in the 1960‘s.
