If the people are demanding raw milk and choose to drink it, then it's not "freedom" if the government won't allow us to purchase that which we choose to consume. The health benefits of raw milk consumption have been proven.
So why then should it be against the law for someone to sell milk that is going to benefit the health of others? Do we see laws preventing the choice to smoke because cigarettes can make you ill? No. Do we see laws against the use of pesticides used on our food? No. Is it not a fact that many people get sick from store bought food every year? Yes, indeed. But we have the right to continue on buying from those stores if we so choose.
It is the freedom to choose that has made this nation great. As we can choose to consume raw milk, we should also have the brain power to make sure that milk we buy is fit for consumption, as with any food we put into our body. Again, freedom to choose.
