Ernest Lee Drew, Jr., 71, of Chattanooga, died on Tuesday, June 30, 2009 in a local hospital.

He was of the Methodist faith and had been employed with Jenkins Truck Sales and Service and Kenworth of Tennessee in parts sales. He had played amateur baseball and softball and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Lee Drew Sr. and Mildred Ford Drew, and a brother, Thomas Randall Drew.

Survivors include his wife, Audrey Drew; one son, Scott Drew and wife Becky of Chattanooga; one daughter, Debbie Drew Laney and husband Roger of Chattanooga; four grandchildren, Garrett Laney, J.D. Laney, Dakota Drew and Regan Drew.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, July 3, at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with the Rev. Harry Snyder officiating. Burial will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, West.

The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.

Waldo Oran Kinser, 58, of Chatsworth, Ga., died Sunday, February 12, 2012 at his residence. Waldo was born May 12, 1953 in Ellijay, Ga., a son of the late Wilbur Oran and Texxie Dotson Kinser; and was also preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Kinser; and sister, Debbie Kinser. An Anhydrous Ammonia leak at BASF Corporation on Amnicola Highway is causing major traffic issues this morning. Woman Shot Up To 8 Times In East Chattanooga Murder

Chattanooga Police pfficers responded Monday night to 1907 Daisy St. in East Chattanooga on a report of a woman who had been shot.  When they arrived around 9 p.m., they found a female inside the business who had been shot 4-6 times.
