Laura Elisabeth Morrell Keener, 96, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, died on Wednesday, July 1, 2009.

She was the daughter of the late Wheler and Pearl Morrell and was preceded in death by her husband, Roy J. Keener.

She was a lifelong member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church now part of Brainerd United Methodist Church and a retired teacher with the Chattanooga Public School system.

Survivors include her nephew, William H. Barger, of Chattanooga, and granddaughter, Ann Tallant, of N.C.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 3, at Forest Hills Cemetery with Rev. Genevieve DeHoog officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5–8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church for the Music Endowment Fund.

Waldo Oran Kinser, 58, of Chatsworth, Ga., died Sunday, February 12, 2012 at his residence. Ammonia Leak At BASF On Amnicola Highway Causes Major Traffic Backups
